So I get home finally. Greeted by my boys. "hey dad" so far so good. Moms laying on the couch. Kiss on the forehead say hi dear. The reply "I just took 2 Xanax". Not hi dear. Not I'm glad you're home. Not how was your day. Nope. Just that.
Sometimes you just gotta say to yourself. "SELF" Should I give her the Rhett Butler reply? "frankly my dear.........."
Nope instead. "fantastic baby"
Hey how was your day would have been sufficient. End of rant. Its really not that bad. Just saying.
