I'm tempted to butcher the rear of my car, and put 79-83 tails on it...

I'd say not rice since they're not clear. Smoked tail lights look

And smoked tails would match pretty well with your car's color.

There are smoked lenses too if you don't want the "alteza" style lights.

so im officially po'ed at my car, have no clue what wrong with her. still the same garbage, cleaned some of the light bulb contact points, the others (which I changed a few weeks ago) wont come out now, and then I broke part of one of the bulb holders....ugggh! I took a look at the fuses, nothing seems wrong, so I officially have no clue. I suppose I have to take it to a shop in the morning and see if my mechanic can tell wtf is wrong

oh and here's the new jacket

David did you try checking for a short in the wiring. Supposedly vehicles with some miles on them can get shorts cause from things like brake fluid, etc. Bacially you'd have to get a continuity tester or and then just start tinkering around till you find something. Problem is if you've ever seen a wiring harness from these modern cars it's crazy.
