Cool. You get money for taxes. I was worried about that and didn't want to say anything. Very nice of Ford to think of that. It would suck to win a Mustang and not have money to pay taxes on it.

Yeah I agree, alot of these contests give you a car and then YOU have to come up with the thousands of dollars to pay for the taxes. Ford did done goodly here

I had an awesome drive today in the Mustang.
My wife threw a baby shower for her best friend. That is why I had 3 dozen women in my house today. But I got up early. Mowed the yard and fixed my fence that my father had knocked down. Then around noon before the guests arrived I decided to drive to Corpus Christi and pick up my Bronco plates. So I had a nice relaxing drive down. About 1/2 of the drive is rural divided 4 lane highway and the other half is 2 lane no shoulder narrow highway. It was a blast with the windows down. However on the way home I spot a Texas Trooper giving someone a ticket up ahead on the right. I wasn't speeding anyway, but I slow down to 50mph and move to the left lane like our law states to steer clear of the trooper. But as I pass by he eyeballs me. Sure enough about 2 or 3 miles down the road he comes up on my bumper and gives me the dreaded red and blue lights. Long story short he said he was giving me a warning for an improperly mounted front license plate. I removed the front bracket when I put the stripes on and didn't want to put it back because the stripes covered the holes in the bumper so well. I've been driving with the front license on the dash in the bottom of the windshield. Anyway after coming back and handing me the warning he said he wasn't going to pull me over, but he wanted to get a closer look at my Mustang. He asked what all I had done to it, he said it looked really good and cool and all. Then he asked if I had a supercharger and I told him not yet. So after getting that really nervous feeling there for a while I started feeling better. I then found a nice rabbit to follow. You know an idiot willing to drive 90-100mph while I followed a few hundred yards behind with my radar detector ready to nail the brakes at the slightest beep. Car drove awesome at a 100mph. Planted to the road and plenty of pull in 5th with those 4.10 gears. My rabbit was a chick BTW in a very nice mid nineties 300Z Twin Turbo. Anyway I thought the trooper pulling me over to check out my car was really cool. Although if I had gotten a ticket I wouldn't think it was that cool. Thank God I don't have any warrants out for me.
