you need to get out more often

the braves game sucked ***! zero offense, and the only run the giants scored spurred from a horrible call by the ump on a stolen base. Even my friend that I was watching the game with said she was dissapointed.

I thought about doing the same, but then thought better about it.

There's also some people in this thread that spell ridiculous with an 'e', like rediculois. It bugs me everytime I see it but I never say anything. Well except for right now. lol

I often use my car's as trucks, the Mazda being more useful than the Mustang due to the added bonus of two more doors

He took the ASVAB last year, but I know they will make him take it again. He's in his 2nd year at the Tech Center at school for an auto technician, so he already has some certifications under his belt. I'm not sure if they will have any merit when it comes to joining.

He hasn't set the appointments yet, but he will soon. If you can think of anything in the meantime, please let me know. And thanks
I will definitly let you know of any questions that come to mind (if I can remember them)

Having that mechanical field behind him is a good thing. I work with someone that was a "tanker" working on the tanks and he switched over to working on the Apache helicoptors. I asked him why he did that and he told me that the Apache is a flying tank so what is the difference. LOL

If he loves to do mechanics then I wouldnt leave out helicoptor mechanics. I really enjoy and love doing that. I am actually learning how to do the mechanical side right now. All I knew before is just basically doing the body work on them.

One question you can ask the recruiter is since he has that certification is what rank will he be when he first joins. Back when I joined nobody was allowed to wear any rank except at the graduation and the rest of their career.

Other questions are how long is AIT( Advanced individual training) for the MOS that he is interested in.

Now there are tank mechanics and also wheeled vehicle mechanic jobs in the Army. They are different MOS's so he might need to pay close attention to those if he wants to go that route.

To be totally honest it doesnt matter what job you have you will be operating all kinds of equipment.

rediculous day at work. That place really doesnt think anything through before they start. They could save everyone a ton of frustrations

anyway, going to go for some dinner, and over to a friend of mine's to watch the Braves game

also, I got the tutoring job! I'll be working 10 hours a week to start with. That's 4 jobs, plus school now. Haha
Congrats on the tutoring job!!

I would get the modded one. I traded my Celica for some mechanic work while I am out here in Afghanistan
