I don't have rats. I should have said last year I had mice. Very small, very fast mice. They seek shelter inside in the winter. Luckily I haven't had one in the house in a few years, but I do find evidence of them in the outside storage and in the attic. I set out some rat poison cubes last year in the attic only to find that something had chewed on it. So that means I have mice I guess. I also accidentaly left cheese/peanut butter crackers in the package in my golf bag, only to find that something had knawed half the package. Mice. So before it gets too cold and they find a way in, I'm going to take care of them. It was funny this summer when I killed the armadillo with the .22, I noticed a mouse drinking water next to my water fountain, so I shot him. It was pretty satisfying knowing I just shot the crap out of the **** little feller. Poor dude never knew what hit 'em. Just pow, and some fur.

We have mice around here, but having four cats around really helps keep them out of the house. One time we had a box of decon, still in the bag hanging on the wall in our garage and the mice managed to eat through the box to get to it. I went in there one morning, and it was like a mass murder. Dead mice all over the floor!

I've got a really cool story to share involving a very, very hot teacher I had when I was young, but I'll save it for later. Right now its movie time.

Well I had the .22 for the armadillo, because the pellet gun was just ricocheting of that **** armor plating. I actually got the armadillo in the throat with the .22, he ran off and I had to chase him to put him down. You could hear him gasping and gurgling for breath as he bled out of his new throat hole. The buzzards were fed well the next day.

Never had a mouse problem that I had to solve. We put out traps for one we had along time ago, never needed to again

Yuck....I hate mice. We used to have a problem with them too. If you can find where they are coming in the house, stuff the hole with steel wool.

I'm feeling old today....it's my son's 20th birthday. I don't feel old enough to have a kid that old, but I guess that's a good thing. We took him out to Texas Roadhouse (his choice) for a nice dinner. Bought him COD4, a black bottom cake (yummmmmmmm) and I made him a photo book of pictures from the last 20 years of his life to take back to his apartment. I actually think he liked that more than COD4! Today is also my mother in law and my niece's birthday. Good thing my mother in law and niece live in different states or I'd be really busy visiting everyone today!

Sounds bussy. Glad everyone enjoyed his birthday. I saw a friend play COD4, Looks challenging and fun. My girls make me feel older each day trying to keep up.
