Hey, everyone's gotta start somewhere. I started with a 2.5L Jeep truck that wouldn't do 75 mph into the wind with the tailgate up. It took me 19 more years to get to a Mustang, but I did, thank God!

Yep, that's true. My first car was a 77 Volvo 242 4 speed (that thing could go 130!) that was given to me by my pop's. As many of us have learned the hard way, I wrecked it by pretending that I knew more than my parents and that they over reacted by telling me to drive responsibly. So get that license and a car you really like, and take care.

My Mustang came 14 years later, and I'm grateful of that, since I would have killed myself back then.

Im lucky I did blow up, that was my concern as it did not go that fast.

I started with a 1991 Nissan pickup, really small, I'm a big guy. I blew the head gasket on the longest day of my life, story on request, and now it's waiting at my uncles for me to work on it. I now have a 99 Grand Cherokee, which I love, except the crappy mileage. I'm hoping the Stang will make it to the driveway by May of 2011, for a graduation present to myself, we'll have to see.

My first car was the II, and it was slow as hell, and I wasn't allowed to drive it for at least a year while it was being fixed up. The first thing I drove around was a 1993 Mazda Protege. I grew up in that car, and then it died on the side of the road while dad was driving one day

He sold it to our mechanic, and it got wrecked within the week. Dad had finally bought himself a BMW 3 series, a car he's wanted his whole life, and mom also got herself a BMW X3. the other mazda was regulated to Arin driving duty. We fondly remember that Red 1998 Mazda Protege as... the Mazdarati

I loved that car, despite being slow, terrible hadnling an just boring. But man.. the stories... Anyhow, it got traded in on the Bullitt and the rest is history.

Dont worry if the first thing you're driving around in ain't that dream mustang, you'll get there, and you'll have a ton of sweet memories in the old beater someday

college, im not sure I'll graduate may of 2011, because I'm a few classes behind and my new school, even though I transferred outta NCState after only a semester. I'll be taking some summer classes, hoping it helps me to catch back up. I'll also have to decide if i want to pursue a second major or just a minor in business administration (to go with my accounting), and then if I want to get a masters. no doctorate, because A) I dont wanna write a thesis, and B) it wont really help my field other than if I want to be a professor. Im leaning toward the double major, because I want to use my accounting degree to get in a good company, and then use that experience to help me be a better CEO. I'd like to be there somewhere before my mid 30's.

as far as varied tastes in cars, people always ask me if I like mustangs, because of this hat I wear alot, and I respond, most definately, but i love prettty much everything. The only cars I dont like is the toyota prius, camry, and any of those stupid "super-ricers" - I dont mind imports if they're done tastefully, but a "downforce-producing" wing over the rear wheels of a front wheel drive car just dont make no **** sense
I want to buy a motorcycle, but the parents vetoed it, and as long as they're paying for the vehicles, I'll certainly respect thier wishes.
