I was hoping to find a dealer who would sell me a GT350 at metro but it isn't looking like I can find one. I think I'm going to just buy a barely used Boss instead.

The options are a little confusing though. Is the only reason to get the R package over the track package the carbon fiber wheels and the deletes? Are the wheels worth $6k?
Carbon fiber wheels with Sport Cup 2 tires, carbon ceramic brakes up front, chin splitter, unique chassis tuning. I'd like to see a real review between the two to see how much different they feel. Otherwise if your serious about it as a track day car and can afford it those things are probably worth it.

I'm leaning Base because of price. I'll likely never utilize MagnaRide to its capabilities, nor the additional cooling systems, but I do much prefer the taller spoiler and the in-dash gauges. It seems silly to spend $6,500 on a spoiler and gauges... but down the road the TP equipped car should be more sought-after than the base model, right?
Where are you seeing the information about the gauges and rear wing?
