When you say "attainable", are the 2016's going to be limited production as well?
Yeah,.....I think the car looks better with the stripes rather than the non striped car.

Heck, the brakes alone on the GT350R are over 8K for both front and rear.
#24
Which kinda makes you wonder how much cheaper Ford is actually getting them for.
$8k for brakes
$30k for 4 wheels
$2k for tires
----------------------
That's $40k PLUS the car itself, and that awesome 5.2L has to cost over $10k by itself ... especially being so limited production ...
For a car that costs $63k?
Yeah, Ford has a "bit" of mark-up in their parts, huh?

I'm sure the Tremec 6 speed is a pricey piece bringing the price up as well as that killer suspension. I'm willing to bet that the suspension is probably one of the priciest parts on the car besides that great engine. (Gotta pay for all that R&D on the track too. lol) I think it was like 3 years of R&D for it be just right.
On the wheels, I heard that they are not as pricey as first claimed. I think they are a lot less than the 30k price they were originally rumored to be.
I gotta stop looking at this GT350R, I really like it. A LOT.

Definitely making money, no question about it.

I am lucky enough to get one for the weekend and even in the rain I am having a blast with this thing. It is just an awesome car, I really haven't found anything I would want or need to mod on the car. Shifter feels great, normally that is the first thing to go in my cars. Exhaust sounds great in and out of the car, no need for an after market one.
Wife said I want one, when are we selling the 2 in the garage. When I mentioned the price she changed her mind. But even she was impressed with the ride and sound of it. When I closed the baffles, she said it was way to quiet.
Hope the rest of the weekend clears up, but if it doesn't I will still have fun driving it in the rain.
