Weather tech Cargo Mat

JFYI, I ordered Weathertech mats for the front and cargo area of our new 2015 GT coupe. We have the Shaker Pro sound system with the speaker in the trunk. We ordered the only available configuration for the cargo mat for our model but when it came it did not fit. The speaker takes up the open area under the rear fender on the right side looking forward. The mat assumes it's open area so you either trim it or send it back. I'm emailing them now to see what they suggest.

What was the texture/material like on the trunk mat? Is it the same as the floor mats? Will it keep things from sliding around. I have Ford's trunk mat and it doesn't.

No it won't. It's a hard rubber type material. I think the only thing would be a cargo net or trunk basket.

You can purchase the WeatherTech Cargo Containment System (Part # 8CTK1) which works pretty good. Not perfect, but provides some more friction.

I would have loved to order the weathertec mats for the trunk. Considering I dropped a whopping $248 for my front and rear passenger mats, I skipped out on the trunk area.

what does the trunk mat go for these days anyway?
