Tuner?

With so many options available what do you feel has been the best on your vehicle? I have a 2016 GT with the performance pack, exhaust, and cold air intake, and I am possibly looking into purchasing a tuner. Just looking for opinions. Debating between SCT GTX tuner or a Diablo Trinity 2. I ran a SCT handheld on my SN95, this is the newest vehicle I’ve owned and ready for those thoughts.... and go!

thanks in advance!

I likes CST on my ‘14 GT. It was reliable, and I used it as an aux gauge. It displayed up to 6 gauges simultaneously. It was nice to see exact coolant temp, AFR and spark advance for both banks in real time.

I have the SCT 4 purchased from Steeda with their cold air intake and tunes. I do not have any experience with the other tuners, but it was easy to load the new tunes on the car and the Steeda tune feels much better than stock. I really haven't used it other than to load the new calibration.

I've had bama tune with my roush CAI(insert removed 105mm maf) x pipe and axle back. no issues with Bama ..when exploring and wanted to try another tune company I went with BrenSpeed... I would advise against them heavily..... first time I tried their 93 tune my car threw codes for running lean, when they revised it the car would barely run and every CEL light came on.... put the Bama 93 Performance tune back in and she runs perfect. Contacted BrenSpeed and they keep telling me its something with calibrating for the CAI...umm what? how hard is it to calibrate it? So needless to say I was going to work with them and try putting the insert back in and data log, but its not worth my time ...for now with my minimal mods Bama will do ...once I go headers/catless and throttle body etc I will go through Lund at that point but for SAFE tuning for beginners Bama is a good route. Bama is known for conservative tunes which for my on my 2021 GT with 3,000 miles on it I didnt want a tune thats going to destroy my drivetrain fits perfect for me. I'd say get a SCT/Bama tunes you wont be disappointed my car runs great she flys and I havent had 1 issue with Bama tunes, never understood why they get the bad rap that they do from people.
