Springs for 2017 GT.

Hi all. I recently bought a 2017 GT with performance package. I jumped the gun and bought SR performance lowering springs and had them installed and loan behold the diameter is off on the bottom of the springs by just a bit and they don't sit in the cradle properly causing some noise and a pretty harsh ride. Very disappointed in the product and I am going to try for a refund from A.M.

Anyway, does anyone have experience with the s550 and springs. What are a really good set to buy, price is no factor now, I am not buying cheap parts anymore. I'm looking for a fairly aggressive spring but not too much , it's a daily driver and I won't be tracking it. Thanks for any input.

Josh

The BMR springs are a popular choice. Another option would be to get the Ford Racing package that includes the dampers. I would highly suggest doing that since lowering with just springs will result in the car being underdamped.

I'd either do the FRPP stuff or BMR springs with Koni Yellows and BMR cradle lockouts and toe-links.

I'll second the motion for BMR.

Unlike most of the other MFG, BMR sells it's springs as Full set or Front set, rear set. The benefit of this you can pick the rate you want at the front or the rear and not just take what the MFG says is good for everyone.

Quit screwing around and go with Steeda progressive lowering springs. Perfect ride height, better handling and no loss of riding comfort. No association with the company, just a satisfied customer.
