Roush axle back on a 2018 gt

I bought this Roush exhaust system before finding out just how loud it is going to be. Can't fine any info on the D.B.'s with or without the factory resonator. My current is a Steeda X pipe with OEM mufflers with aftermarket tips and it produces 85 D.B's at 4500 RPM's ( the most the car will allow you to rev with a sustained RPM ) . Any help would be great before I jump in and install it.

Thanks KC for the link they had soeme great vids. I bought the exhaust because of its deep sound. I just don't know how loud is loud going to be on the car. Does anyone know the actual D.B;s it will make using a set standard.

I Would Call Roush Tech Hotline as Roush Surely Had To Do Sound Tests on These if They Were Used on Any Models Sold Equipped at The Dealerships! They Would Be Required to Meet Legal Sound Standards Both State & Local Unless This Particular Style Was Sold as a Purely Off Road Part.

Are you Trying To Be Prepared For Some Race Rules or Some Homeowners Association Red Tape?

But Somewhere in My Noodle I Seem To Remember Certain Mufflers and I Can't Remember if it Was Roush or Ford Racing That We Had To Wait Until The Owners Took Possesion of The Car & Then We Could Install as Some Sort of Loop Hole To get By a Certain Law. Been Almost 20 Years So Forgive My Memory! Sell The Car Drive Around The Block & Install I Do Remember That Much!

Just a Thought.

interested to see if the db data is available; I'm guessing it probably isn't because "it depends" on the rest of the exhaust system

can you look in to see what's inside? I had some Magnaflow mufflers that looked similar (except single inlet/outlet) and inside was a perforated tube surrounded by deadening material .... those mufflers were fairly quiet, about the same as stock on my 2010 GT with very deep/smooth sound .... these could be completely different or louder because of the double inlet/outlet; who knows

Roush comparison

Here is the sound with the Roush oval two stage mufflers with factory resonator after the exhaust has been warmed up, I should note that I am using a 20i5 thru 2017 resonator it is a slightly different p/n. So it may tone done the level more then the 18 thru 13.
