I have never been a fan of chromed plastic emblems. I replaced the 5.0 and front grille horse emblem with gloss black ones. I installed a Ford Performance rear trunk panel without the GT emblem. I also removed the ugly engine cover.

 

Looks good. I actually like the chrome emblems, but the black ones look awesome as well.

 

Nice! First mod I made to mine. Blacked out. I did do the Black GT on the trunklid though.

Funny. I had a Black 2006 GT, and never thought about blacking it out. When I was looking to trade in, I really wanted Black, and my plan was to black everything out on it. I settled for white, and the Stormtrooper look grew on me once I did it.
