I just got my 15 GT /PP / Manual and want that extra 5.0 sound
I want to remove the resonator and replace with X or H pipe but Not sure of the difference or which to get


Advise please

 

Personally, i prefer the H pipe- gives you the more traditional Mustang sound vs a x pipe which is just a little raspier sounding to me. I just installed the MBRP Race cat back exhaust which comes with an h pipe and deletes the heavy bulky factory resonator. Best thing you can do is just spend some time listening to different audio clips or videos on Youtube.

 

X PIPE Because it sounds cooler

 

What do most do with their removed exhaust? Sell to a scrapyard or on craigslist and such? Thinking about getting the Magnaflow axel back once my ride gets here. Love the sound in the clip!! The cat back seemed a tad loud to me.

Just heard one in person yesterday with the X pipe. Sounds great!!

 

I prefer the corsa double x pipe it's the best sounding in my opinion

 

I'm loving my jba o/r h pipe, you have choice to go with cats or catless.
It's loud but compliments all the time, even the gf said she got chills with a smile while starting it up for me today

 

Why not do the FRPP x pipe with the boss style side pipes? The sound, if anything like on the s197, is the best out there.
