GT350 Gauges in a GT

I never quite understood the need for a vacuum gauge in the Mustang GT especially when the GT350 had an oil temp gauge in its place. Don't get me wrong, a vacuum gauge has its place but it's just not as useful as some other options they could have used. Anyway, I've been thinking about replacing the oil pressure/vacuum gauge cluster in the GT for the oil pressure/oil temperature gauge from a GT350 and guess what.....................It works! I now have oil temperature rather than vacuum. Only downfall is it doesn't respond to the My Color settings. It's always white. I still think it's a worthwhile swap.

I performed this mod to my gt about a month ago and also swapped out the chrome gt bezels with the gt350 black chrome to match the gauges. Ireally like it.

I wonder if it's possible to swap out the lighting system from the GT cluster into the GT350 cluster to make it respond to MyColor. Either that, or permanently tint the white light-up areas so they light up in the color of my choice.
