GT 5.0 Heads Up on Anti Hop kit and reversed cats

Was in for service today and the tech told me that there is a new anti hop kit for the 2015. Also, the dealers have gotten a Service Bulletin to check all 5.0 as there are a small number of them that had their Cats installed in the reversed direction.

I should have added to the above on the cats . . . I Was told that a visual check can ID the incorrect fit so I suspect part numbers etc are on the bottom of the cats if installed correctly.

That is correct, but they issued that in December of 2014 and dealers had to fix them prior to selling the car, so If you purchased your car in 2015 you should be good to go.

Did you happen to get the tsb number for the anti hop kit? I hope they replace the bushings with the frpp ones.

Maybe the tech was letting him know that one (anti hop kit ) is available in the after market.

TSB on the cats, separate subject-->

OP didn't state there was a TSB for wheel hop, just a kit. Of course if this is an actual problem, it should become a TSB. There is a TSB for the CAT issue.

Edit: LQQK beat me to the punch.
