GT 10 speed MPG's
Wondering what your average mpg's are in your 10 speed auto GT's. Normal/Average driving highway and average city. Looking for info on the GT PP as well as the base GT's mpg's. Thanks in advance. I did try searching but didn't find much. I also know that you don't buy a GT for the MPG's ....

Computer in the dashboard tells me it's 20.1 overall since new in July, 1848.4 miles of "break-in"-style driving. Received wisdom is to discount the displayed MPG by about 13%. I've been too lazy to break out local and highway travel, or even to do the fill-miles-fill-calculation. First car in my history I've not done that.

Well - I'm not normal I guess... I drive in sport mode when the roads are dry - I also put the transmission in sport, it holds high rpms longer.... I'm addicted to the downshift rev matching ....
in the end - I'm averaging after 5k miles, 17.5 MPG... I don't really care about the MPG - I put in VP racing 92 octane non-ethanol gas every time.

Hey Glenn, I have a ‘19 Bullitt with 3500 miles and the dash is telling me 19.5 mpg. That’s a good mix of highway and shorter city drives. When I’m driving mostly highway I ave mid 20’s around 24. When I’m driving more city, shorter trips etc. I get down to 19 and sometimes dip into the 18s. That’s with the PP1/Bullitt specific 3:73’s
Also I used to live in Plainfield about 10 years ago and drove a Legend Lime ‘06 GT. I’m down south in NC these days though and not missing the COLD and snow.
Are you thinking of getting an ‘18/‘19?

MAGNA RIDE
Magna ride is a option that would be listed on the cars window sticker. Did you get the 10R80 transmission. We need pictures of your new Mustang. Congratulations on your purchase. My 2018 GT is now tethered to a battery tender. Hate these Wisconsin winters.

Take your pick I guess ticking, tapping, or short and long block replacements because of cylinder wall scoring. How many cars are having this problem we will probably never know. I think some dealers are replacing engines when it is not necessary. I have a 2018 Mustang GT 400A with the 10R80 and just shy of 2,500 miles with no issues so far. Not to worry you but some engines have had issues. some good info here https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/for...b-recalls.102/

How far did you go to get it? I don’t remember seeing palm trees in the Chicagoland area.
