The tramlining isn't bad enough to be an issue for me. The handling and steering response more than makes up for it. The only reason I'm putting different tires and wheels on it is because of the cold weather effects on the Cup2s.

I've got all season Michelins coming in 285 front and 325 on the rear. I'll let you know how the handling characteristics change.
that is a lot of tire. It will take a few revs to light them up. It will be fun to launch at 3000rpm tho (when it’s warm)

I'd still like to know how it handles with different tires compared to the 305s.

So I've got the new tires mounted and the tramlining is all but gone. The only time I notice any pulling is coming to a stop on an uneven road. Otherwise it tracks straight. Fronts are 285/35-19 Michelin AS3+ ZP mounted on 10" SVE R350s. Rears are 325/30-19 on 11" SVE r350s. I have to admit I don't like the look of the rears because they stick out more than I'd like. I'll make a decision what to do about it this winter. If anyone wants a pair of 325s let me know.

I just looked it up. Tire Rack says 11.5-12. The specs for the tire were measured on an 11" rim however. Not sure why they did that but I missed the 11.5-12 spec. I think another issue might be the offset of the wheel. I've read in a few places the level 2 cars have quite a few suspension components from the GT350. The rear GT350 wheel has +10mm more offset than the GT wheel so this would set the GT350 wheel in 10mm compared to the GT wheel. Maybe this car should have a rear wheel spec'd for a GT350. I have some research to do.
