Long story short I totaled my 2013 Mustang 3.7 over the weekend... had two payments left. BOOO

Now I have a good excuse to upgrade to a base model 5.0. Can someone tell me the differences between the model years? I think I want to avoid the 2015 due to it being the first year.

 

AFAIK, '15, '16, '17 are basically the same except that only the '16 has hood-mounted turn signals. My Magnetic Metallic '16 GT has only 3 options - 6-speed auto, interior and wheel package (with P255/40ZR19 Pirelli), and reverse park assist. It replaced a black '97 Mustang Cobra. I'm very happy with the upgraded chassis and powertrain in my DD.

'16 and '17's have Ford Sync 3. 2015's have MyFord Touch. (although I don't think that pertains you wanting a base model).

As stated above, 2016+ has Sync 3, which for me was a huge thing, not available on the base model, but in the base premium model if I remember correctly.
