I am writing here in hopes that someone can help me. I have a 2015 Mustang GT PP that is less than a year old. I had a 10 mph fender bender that did a lot more damage than expected. I've been able to get OEM parts in for everything except the front fascia. My shop, which is a high end sports car shop here in Atlanta, cannot find the front bumper cover anywhere. Ford is out of stock and back ordered for about 2000 of these guys. They are not sure when they will be in stock and there are people looking for them all over the country, so getting one is pretty much being in the right place at the right time.
I thought about upgrading to Roush front fascia, State Farm even agreed to cover the extra cost due to the issue with the OEM bumper. Now that I am checking Roush is on backorder too, with ZERO front fascia kits available. They are saying it could be 2-3 weeks before they have any.
I am hoping that the greater Mustang community might have an idea or know someone that has one of these options in stock? I do not want to use a refurb bumper cover or cheap Chinese imitation. I have never heard of an in production car, Made In the USA, not having parts available and not knowing when they might get one. I love my GT and just want to get it back on the road.
Since your insurance company is working with you on an aftermarket bumper, you can try Steeda and see if you are able to get one of their Q-750 fascias. Send a PM to TJ@steeda and see if he might be able to help you out. It looks a lot like the stock bumper only a bit more GT350 like.
Avoid aftermarket at all costs. However, a reconditioned cover isn't a bad alternative. They are OEM to begin with, so fit won't be a problem. Typically the covers came from the factory with slight blemishes or minor tears so the manufacturer sells them to a company that reconditions them. As long as the cover starts out as OEM I personally see no issue, and it's an industry acceptable repair, especially when OEM is unavailable.
I hate to be crass, but couldn't you find a wrecked (from the side or rear, or course) 2015 from a salvage yard in the whole Atlanta area and use that until your OEM becomes available?

Most salvage yards won't remove just a front cover from such a new vehicle. Keep in mind that at that point, the bumper is a complete assembly consisting of the front cover, absorber, and the steel or composite reinforcement itself.
Also, a yard is still unlikely to remove just the assembly for separate sale. It would remain part of the used nose either as a section or a sheet metal peel-off.
Who me?? it's the only thing I can do when my car is at the dealer for 2-3 weeks at a time.
I dread when your Mustang gets sidelined. You end up living vicariously through everyone else's Mustang, including mine, and my credit card balance keeps going up.

Patrick is the reason why I've stopped coming around so much.... or at least stopped posting all the time. Pretty bad when my wife started saying "let me guess, Patrick made you buy that right?!?!" Lol

We started a new local club, all inclusive of every generation of Mustangs (we may even open it up to Mopar and GM actually...), and everyone knows not to talk to me about mods. They'll text me individually asking about wheel offsets or exhausts, where to buy stuff etc. Hey I'm just trying to be helpful!

Yes, send me your address to tim@steeda.com. We are going to be releasing the front end shortly.
