who has the best tuner??

So I'm in the market for a tune for my 2015 ecobeast. I'm debating between Bama and the livernois hand held tuners. What's your opinions? Who would say has the best Tunes available?

It's probably a little early to say who has the best. The two you mention, plus cobb and Unleashed seem to have good tunes. JLP had a stock EB go 12.6 in the 1/4 (including stock tires, but plus 50/50 race gas), which isn't meant for DD.

I'm waiting a few more months to see how it all shakes up.

They don't have an EB tune yet, it doesn't seem. That link is for the GT tune.

I would go with Livernois on reputation alone...they are a very reputable shop.

Hey Kript,

I would definitely recommend the Bama X4 Tuner for your EcoBoost if you're looking to terrify some other Mustang owners on the streets. We were just down in North Carolina with the guys at Kooks doing some R&D with their Competition Series Downpipe and doing some test fitting with their Front Mount Intercooler - While we were only able to get to an 1/8 Mile track that was in their area we did some math and the car bested a 12.1 pass! Check out our February Episode of Hot Lap and take a look:

We're definitely not done with ours yet and a big turbo kit is already in the books but here's some preliminary passes that we made at our local track a couple months back:

Check out one of our customers with a recently installed 93 Track Tune!

These cars are violently responsive to a little calibration and once you're to throw on a Cold Air Intake, Downpipe, and a little more free flowing exhaust the possibilities are endless. Let me know if you have any questions at all and if you don't have our Forums Discount Code shoot me a PM and I'll get you set up!

Alex

i have always wondered why don't cars come tuned from the factory like this? if a 3rd party can do this without even looking at your car, how hard would it be for Ford? or a better question is why doesn't Ford

Just comparing the two it seems that the livernois has better numbers, but I like the free tunes from Bama

I know how you mean! I think it's in regards to Fuel Consumption. We need to remember at the end of the day Ford's calibrating their cars to be run on 87!

Kript2night - I think Bama's Tunes really stack up against theirs and I'd love to see someone do a back to back dyno or at least drag for comparisons sake! We're always happy to get people hooked up with Bama and I really think that you'd be blown away with what they're capable of doing!

Let me know if you're to have any questions and I'm here to help!

I would wait a few more months just to be safe. I would hate to start reading about things going 'pop'
