I have the 2.0L ecoboost Titanium and very happy about how the car drives and handles. Motor is up to task , very nervous and has plenty of torque without any lag whatsoever.
I had the 3L V6 in my previous 2009 Escape, all i can say is the difference is night and day . Nice work Ford. I'm lovin' it.

All WHAT news? Almost all the "news" we have from engine, chassis, suspension, styling, etc is speculation and rumors. It's fun to read the rumors but none of it is gospel. If there's anybody on this forum who positively knows what the next-gen engine lineup is, they're sworn to secrecy. As an example, many sources said the next-gen Corvette was going to have a down-sized engine, most likely 5.5 liters. Just days ago Chevrolet made the announcement and it's a 6.2. I wouldn't write off the next-gen Mustang until there is some official information.

Some of the cries are like the switch from carb to EFI. I want to see a TDI drivetrain setup kind of like an Audi R15 only with 8 pumps instead of 10 as an SVT limited production option. Maybe crank the HP up from 590 to 725 and Q from 774 to 850 with a strong 6 speed gearbox. I'm glad Ford is stepping outside the warehouse unlike some who are horrified of popping their head through the bubble wrap in their future ideas.
