The standard might be a few pounds lighter since it has less equipment, but I doubt it would make a measurable difference. Aside from that they are identical from a powertrain perspective.

The Performance Package is faster because of 3.55 gears. Trim level has no bearing on speed.

Except with the Automatic ...

All Base model EB with AT get the 3.15 gears
All Prem model EB with AT get the 3.31 gears

... so a Premium may be a little quicker off the line even with the added weight.

Only place you will see this info is on the window stickers ... I've yet to see a base w/ 3.31 or a prem w/ 3.15. Also in the Order Guide you will see 3.15 listed under the AT option on the base, but not on the premium AT. I really thought this was a accidental deletion in the OG as the Dealer Source Book states "3.15 AT only" and "3.31 MT only" but in reality the DSB was wrong.

I've looked at the windows stickers online, and aside from Performance pack cars, I don't see the gear ratio listed. Where do you find this info, or is it not shown on the online versions of the window stickers?

Base 100A, gear ratio is last item under options "no charge":
2016 ...

2015 ...
http://www.inventory.ford.com/servic...5430085&ref=VL

Prem 200A, gear ratio is first item under options:
2016 ...
http://www.inventory.ford.com/servic...5208301&ref=VL
2015 ...
http://www.inventory.ford.com/servic...5350684&ref=VL

I looked at 3 or 4 Prem 2015 and none had the ratio listed anywhere as you mention. I swear I had seen it listed before but maybe not ... the Order Guide does clearly state that the 3.31 is std. on all EB and the only place 3.15 is mentioned is under the AT option for the base model 100A. Plus a bunch of Premium owners have crawled under their cars and have seen 3.31 on the differential tag to further prove this fact.

That would explain it, I was looking at 2015 Premiums. Thanks for the links.
