Aftermarket Ecoboost exhaust
Aftermarket Ecoboost exhaust
I am subscribed to a local shops email letter and i guess they have an exhaust kit for the ecoboost.
I think the built in mic they used is terrible but either way here it is

Stock sounded pretty quiet, as expected. I think I was hearing the engine more than the exhaust.
MRT exhaust sounded like most of it was being filtered by the mic, so I'd like to hear more before condemning it as a fart can...But that's the only sound that came through in that video.

Be patient and give it some time. The aftermarket hasn't kicked into high gear yet for the 2015. I'm sure someone is going to figure out how to defeat the lip synch engine sound and develop a proper exhaust for the EB.
I think the easiest way to improve the sound of the Ecoboost 4 would be to go to a Fiat dealer and get a muffler for a Fiat 500 Abarth and put the Abarth muffler on the Mustang ( that is if the inlet diameter is about the same ).
Why would one want to make a eco sound like a V8? Seems somewhat foolish. Be proud and do performance mods when available and put on a louder axleback. We all drive mustangs, no matter what the motor that should be enough.
