Has anyone had issues with rattling coming from engine bay on passenger side of car that only happens while getting up to speed and between 45 and 65 miles an hour then after that it goes away ask ford and all they say is that it is a known sound for a brand new car with only 4000 miles on it any help would be great.

 

First..no! I have over 6000 miles on my EB with no noise or rattles anywhere in or on the car. Next..find a new dealer to get a second opinion.

You are welcome...hope you find a solution. One other thing, if you add your location people living in the same area can suggest a dealer that has provided them great service.

 

I had the same problem with my 2004 RX8 and the only way I got rid of it was the dealer to replace the airbag assembly. My 2010 Mustang started to make the same noise. I tried to replace the cabin air filter hoping it was a simple fix. It did not fix the problem. So I decided to just not worry about it and then just turned the music up louder because the sound will drive you nuts.

Let me know if you find a fix for it. My 2015 Ecoboost will be here today or tomorrow and it would be nice to know in case mine has the same issue.
