I think it is really special that no one has has chimed in with the stupid %$#@ that you don't buy a Mustang for the gas mileage.

I suspect the fun-factor on yours is way higher. This was a mostly-legal speeds journey...just poking along.

Very nice. Love the MPG.

Mine is hanging out at around 15.8 in town. Get better on the road, but not even close to your numbers.

Like the beer commercial…I don’t always behave, yet when I do, I get good mpg.

That's really impressive and helpful for the wallet. I'm not surprised at all though as some cars get crazy good mileage, even V8 machines. It was common for 4th gen F-bodies (1998 -2002 Trans Ams and Camaros with the LS1 V8) to get close to 30 mpg with their 6 speed manual transmissions and keeping the highway speeds under 70 mph. One of our car club members regularly travelled from western NC to Miami and back getting in the 29+ MPG area. The front aero shape and steep rake of the windshield certainly helped too.
