I just registered for the Mustang Alley and the MOCSEM car show in Dearborn Mi. I am checking to see if anyone else will be attending these events. We are driving from California so I am looking forward to meeting all other GT/CS owners.

I will be at both, and am a MOCSEM member so will be working at the event as well as showing my car.

 

My plan is leave California on 8/11 and arrive 8/13 so I can attend the Ford Plant tour. I am looking for any assistance for Hotels in the local area in Michigan that I can make reservations for 8/13 - 8/18.

I've stayed here a few times. Very nice and clean, and convenient to plant tours, Henry Ford museum, etc. About a 25 minute ride to Woodward.

We booked a room at the Red Roof Inn in Warren Mi.

 

My wife and I are trying to get a get together with members of my wife's GT/CS facebook group. It looks like Friday is a good day since there isn't any planned events for that day. If you have any suggested places to meet in the area please let me know.

 

I agree with the Best Western, pretty nice place and an easy drive to the Alley. There is also the Dearborn Inn, which is even closer to the Henry Ford.

Another event you might take in is the Ford Rouge Factory Tour, I think busses leave from the Henry Ford.

 

I am thinking that the get together will be starting at the Henry Ford then go from there. We are working the rest of the details for the Friday meet.

Mustang Alley is for all Mustangs, all years.

Woodward Dream Cruise is for all makes, only Mustang Alley is limited.
