I doubt we will be upgrading too soon - we have spent a ton in detailing cloths and products and winter storage products. But my husband said the only thing he would change would be to have a throatier more grumbling, louder exhaust. But looking at the price - I doubt it will happen soon. I like the sound when she first starts up and you get on her - which doesn't happen too often - too many cops loving race red GT's speeding. LOL. We did add a dead pedal GT/CS piece from AM to protect the carpet that isn't covered by the mats. And we got a nice car cover from them on sale too that will fit her nicely this winter in the garage. It is tempting though to look at all the mod interior, exterior, motor etc. But even stock - she is a great car.
#1 mod - why advertise Dealer LOL

pretender-- I bought my GT500 quads and valance/diffuser from Autonation Ford of White Bear Lake, MN, as a package with free shipping. They sell the package for ~$625. Hope that helps. AND, welcome to the site. Lots of good knowledgeable people here.

Thanks so much. Now I just have to talk the husband into it. LOL Maybe next spring! Those really look nice on your car! I am sure they sound really nice too.

Well I finally got it all straightened out - don't have to cut the bumper but did have to order a GT500 valance to go with my Corsa axleback Quads. Ordered - should be here by next Monday at the latest and by this time next week hopefully will have it all installed. I appreciate all the help on this forum. Someone finally explained that because I have a CS the bumper doesn't have to be cut. Phew - saves some on the cost of install for sure.
If the Sports aren't loud enough for you, you can get some take off GT500 over the axle pipes (that connect the axle backs to the H mid pipe) which will not have the resonators that our stock exhausts have. That will free up a little more volume and bite.

From the sound clip I heard of the Corsa Sports - it will be plenty loud. We live in a smallish town and I don't want the cops following me all over town. LOL Also in WI there is a rule that you can't be a certain amount of decimals above your stock exhaust. If you are you have to remove the new exhaust and pay a large fine. That usually will only happen out on the interstate - so the no drone will help solve that ? Our neighbors hear us when we drive by now - hopefully they won't complain to an even louder system LOL. But both my husband and I just smiled when we listened to the clip on YouTube. Can hardly wait! Alot of money but we aren't planning on changing anything else at this point.
The Corsa Sport Axleback Quads and Valance coming tomorrow. Can't believe I talked the husband into buying them this year instead of waiting until next year. With luck they will be installed next week. We aren't do it yourselfers - but my husbands first cousins are the Ring Brothers (they build cars for the super rich - like Jay Leno) will be putting them on. I am going to ask them to stamp their company name on the car somewhere or autograph someplace LOL that they helped modify our car! A nice feeling to know if we ever need body work done - we have somewhere to go. They do stuff like that in between building best of show cars (specializing in Mustangs) I had no idea until this week they were famous. LOL and we have been married 35 years. With luck I will be able to drive her home after the install and look at the new car they are building for Jay Leno as I type. But with all the help and photo's and information I received here I know it is the right thing to do and we will love it. So thanks for your help and everyone else's help. And AM for the discount on the equipment. AM rocks.

If the ring brothers are working on your exhaust....You are in great hands. Tell them to tweak anything else that needs tweaking.
Your very lucky and I'm very jelous.
Ring Brothers have won many awards.

All the best.

Thanks - I would love them to "tweak" anything else. Hopefully they will take a look and if they see something will bring it to our attention. Talk about a grace moment. Yeah they are very talented guys. Still very down to earth too.

+1 on the down to earth guys.
Would love to see a show with them instead of the *** monkey guys.
Good luck with your install and any tweaks that may happen

Thanks Jerry. We also have a 2001 S10 pickup. Needs some bodywork and only has 63,000 miles. We are think of asking how much to fix it up and if possible take the GT/CS dual exhaust and put it on the truck. If we could do that for a reasonable amount we will hang on to it rather than sell or trade in on a new truck. It is our winter vehicle as it has 4 wheel drive. Our other is a front wheel drive Buick LaCrosse ala 2005 with 120, 000 miles on it but still in great condition. So saying my prayers they will take on the truck as a small project and that we can afford it.

Ford exhaust on a chevy. Now thats a first. When the time comes with that S10 engine giving up, you can drop in an Aluminator engine and complete the project.
Just kidding! wish it was that esy.
Good luck with your Ring Brothers Exhaust and Motor on.
Have them sign the car. maybe under the rear deck lid somewhere.
I wanted to take off work to be there - but I can't. So my husband gets the first drive with the quads - booo hissss. LOL. Hopefully he will talk them into some sort of signature or label with their company logo on it to put somewhere, as proof they helped modify Chrome. She would like that! Tomorrow the big day. For most of you guys it is probably a mod you wouldn't think much about but for me - it is a huge thing!
Maybe you can get him to do a "drive-by" your place of work, when he gets them done. That way you can hear them as others do.
True - I will have him call me when he is close. He said he would stop and drop it off and swap cars with me - but I DO want to hear them like others would. Great idea!

When my wife drives mine, I stand outside and listen to her drive off. She thought I wasn't trusting her and I had to tell her I was just enjoying the sound. So far she has no desire to drive it now that the supercharger is installed.
I think I would be a little hesitant with a supercharger too. LOL. That is not in my plans. Almost bought a GT with a Roush supercharger but didn't. It was in NC and was more expensive. We got the GT/CS was 1/2 an hour from home we love the looks of the CS - the roush supercharged wasn't a CS - plus the one we bought was a certified used by Ford and allowed us to get great financing and a great price and so close to home. I think I made the right decision as it was my gift I could have anyone I wanted.
