Will 235 65 R18’s fit on my stock 2009 gt?
I think they will probably fit but they will be significantly bigger diameter than the original tires.
Best way to figure this out is to look up your original tires on Tire Rack (or any other place that has the specs and information) and look on the "specs" tab to find the diameter of the original tires. Then look up the new tires you are considering, and check the diameter of those (while your at it also check the recommended rim width). You want the new tires to be no more than about 1" larger than the old ones, and there should be plenty of clearance because Ford still designs with enough clearance for snow chains.

If you have 235/50-18 and go to 235/65-18 my tire size chart says it would be dangerous. At 60 mph you would really be doing 66.1 mph with the larger tires.
