GT500 Wheels fit brembo brake GT?
Will GT500 wheels fit a brembo GT car ?
sometimes when I’m on a site searching for wheels, they show a drop down option for Mustang GT’s, but as we know, not all GT wheels fit a brembo brake car.
so I was hoping I could do a search for GT500 wheels, thinking they must have big brakes, so they should fit
am I over thinking it?

No you are not over thinking it. If I remember correctly the 2007-2012 GT500 used the 14" 4 piston Brembo brakes that were used on the Mustang GT through 2014. In 2013 the GT500 went to a 15" 6 piston brake on the front. If a wheel fits over the GT500 brakes it will fit over the Brembo GT's. I am sure if my memory is off a year someone else will happily correct me.

In 2013 the GT500 went to a 15" 6 piston brake on the front. If a wheel fits over the GT500 brakes it will fit over the Brembo GT's. I am sure if my memory is off a year someone else will happily correct me.
Yes sir, I believe you are correct. Any S197 GT500 (2007-2012 14" 4 piston front brake & 2013-2014 15" 6 piston front brake) wheel should fit a S197 GT with Brembo (Big) brakes. As will S197 Boss (2012-2013 14" 4 piston front brake) wheels.
