Yep. East Tennessee and a lot of hills. We have 2 or 3 inches of ice with snow coming tonight. It will be changing to rain in the morning and 'should' melt by late in the afternoon when it warms to around 48 degrees

Glad you guys made this post...So I'm getting ready to make my tire purchase for spring. I'm unsure which ones to get. I've heard nittos, Mickey's, and now coopers. Oh and I heard bfg tire but from other folks said it was noisy over time. I just need a good gripping performance tire, I drive in rain also.

Around 70 miles east of me Buying tires will drive you crazy. Just when you've picked out the ones you want, you find a few bad reviews

Yea I've read a lot of good things, then I'll meet someone that just hates them. Can be frustrating lol

After scrubbing 1/8" off of them this past Sunday on the track I still highly recommend the Pilot Sports. They did very well considering they are an all season tire. I was smelling burnt rubber for a couple of days after. ha ha. Still quiet too.

I'm going to throw one out there for the General Gmax. I'm highly impressed with them. I'd had some on for about 7k miles. Ride great, quiet, grip is fantastic IMO in dry, cold, wet, snow etc. I drove on them last fall and all winter in up to 3 inches of snow on the roads with no problems at all. The ONLY complaint I would have is they squawl if you are pushing them hard but you have to either spin your tires or corner really hard which I only did once just to see how they performed. They freakin grip a lot better than I ever thought an AS tire could

The Michelin's I feel the same about. I ran a 2:25 and the M3's with summers ran 2:10. Not bad for all seasons.

Okay so I need sum opinions, which wheel do you folks like? I like both, but I'm leaning more towards the black machined.
