Tires.

Well I have a 12 with brembo pack. With the stock summer rubber on the rear and pirelly p6 on the front.

Reason for pirelli p6? I popped a front tire when the car had 1200miles on it. I had no warranty on the tires and had to replace that one tire. The local place didnt have them in stock and I needed to get to work. So I ended up with p6's in the same exact size but I had to do two tires. 500bux down the piper there.

On the bright side the p6's are hardly wearing with 15k on the clock, the rears are nearly shot. Yes I was DDing summer freaking tires on a rwd 400hp car in the snow sometimes.

I need to replace the rears at some point. And ideally I would like a set of all season tires that are decent for the wet, but more performance oriented. The p6's are actually narrower than the stock pzero tires as well.

I have two choices, get another pair of p6's and keep rotating them. Not ideal.

Or get 4 new tires. However in the size these wheels fit anything out there half way decent seems to be in the 250+ per tire category. Again all season.

19s are expensive. Period.

Michelin has the new Pilot Sport A/S 3 that seems to be the bee's knees of All Seasons.

I daily drove my `12 Brembo on bald Pirelli's last winter with little issue (TCS FTW).
I replaced them with Cooper RS3 A's all seasons and even up sized them to 275/40's
So far I like the tires but anxious to see how well they work in the snow. regardless they have to be better then the OEM's.

Try the BFG G-Force Sport Comp-2. Great tire in your price range...lil cheaper actually. These are a summer tire, so not gonna be good in really cold or ice. But they are great in the wet...and dry for that matter.

With our cars, like any high HP rear drive car...for really cold and snow/ice you should get tires that are specific to those conditions.

Another vote for Cooper RS3-As. Running 275/40/19 and they're fantastic dry and in the rain. Haven't had a chance to try them in the snow.
