Is there some kind of clip I have to take off to put new wheels and tires on?

I have a 2014. I ordered new wheels and tires and I've read before that a clip has to be taken off for the wheel to sit flush. Is that the case and how is it done? I just want a head's up before I do the swap. Thanks.

Its the clip that holds the rotor in place during assembly. You can pop them off with a screw driver.

A screwdriver or a pair of needle nose pliers. Grab hold and yank!
