Swift Springs?
I'm hearing good things about Swift Springs. And generally a smoother ride, feel how sports suspension should feel like. Not too stiff, not too soft. More linear? Better response. I've seen (pics) of Koni Yellows combined with these, set of Coilovers with the latte-brown metallic springs on them.
Don't know what to make of them though, because I just found out and not enough search results. So. What are these things??

I haven't looked them up, but if they're the same Swift that made springs for Subarus, my cousin had a set on his WRX and yes they rode awesome. Better than stock, but didn't beat you up. I'll check up and see if it's the same company...

I'm guessing not many have these on a Stang lol. There is a difference in default spring rate 5kg(S197) vs 14kg(S550). I might just become one of the first who put them on then.
Generally speaking though, should we prefer swift springs (linear) over progressive springs?

And as far as linear versus progressive, it's hard to say. There's pluses and minuses to both. I've always had progressive on my cars, minus the MM coilovers I had on my 03 GT, and that's not comparing apples to apples. That said, that car had the best ride of any Mustang I've ever been in or driven. It also has an 03 Cobra IRS, so that may have helped.
I've noticed on the Mustangs I've had with progressive springs, they tend to ride just like stock over smaller bumps, but hard bumps tended to have a lot more rebound than I would like - of course you can dial some of that out with adjustable shocks, but it was one observation where the linear springs performed better. But then if your roads are bad where you live, the linear springs will tend to ride more firm, all the time. So it depends on your uses.

I thought the linear springs would give 'softer' ride (but firmer than lowering springs + shocks or stock) as to coilover's stiffer. I'm starting to think this is a bad idea? I don't know hmm.
