Strut tower brace
Strut tower brace
Is this optional? I've seen several low mile used '11 and '12 GT's with out it?
I'm guessing they all get it and for some reason[s] these cars don't have it.

You can pick up this style up pretty cheap. This is the stock brace on the 10's, Boss 302 and v6 because it clears the intake manifold on all of these models. The stock 11-12 will not clear the Boss manifold if your uncle ever plans on making that mod.

For the umpteenth time, here are the cars that get the strut tower brace:
- All coupes that have the 19" wheel options (wheels themselves or as part of the BBP, CS, & other pkgs w/19" wheels).
- All convertibles regardless of wheel size.
For example, my GT with base 18" wheels came with no brace. I added one after I bought it, courtesy of Blue Oval Industries. Good chaps. Oil is much more difficult to check now. I do not care.

Yes, the Brembo cars come with the brace. Per my summary above, all coupes with 19" wheels get the brace. The BBP includes 19" wheels, so the BBP includes the brace.
