~ Steeda Ultralites vs Eibach Pro-Kit

As some of you may already know I am trying to build my suspension a bit more....I already have FRPP P-Springs.

I already know I am going with the Koni STR.t's & GT500 mounts w/FRPP Bump Stops, what I am debating on is the Steeda Ultralite springs or Eibach Pro-Kit.

I loved the stance of the P-Springs when I had the stock wheels/tires, but with the lower profile of the GT500 tires I need a bit more of a drop F&R.

Now I know Gus & TJ will chime in and say go with the Steeda's and I know a lot of you guys have the Steeda Sports. But on other forums there are a ton of guys running the Eibach's. There are also the Saleen's thrown in there for fun!

So what's your recommendation for daily-driver/weekend spirited-driving ride & perf? I do not do 1/4mi track or road courses/autocross.

STEEDA ULTRLITE SPRINGS:
Front Drop: 1.25"
Rear Drop: 1.5"
Price: $249

EIBACH Pro-Kit
Front Drop: 1.3"
Rear Drop: 1.4"
Price: $249

SALEEN:
Front Drop: 1.25"
Rear Drop: 1.25"
Price: $249

* There are two kits from Eibach: E35101140... drop the car the most but is said to be used for the 05-09 cars!? E35125140 is the 11-12 set that only drop the car 1" in front!? Why the difference!?

I would be curious about those as well as I'm looking for something similar right now too. Have you looked into the BMR SP009 springs? They offer a similar drop and supposedly some of the best ride comfort over other springs. Those are at the top of my list currently.

I have heard those are very soft springs and not so good for performance driving.....but it's just hear-say.

I've heard the same which is one reason I like them. The roads here suck. I would agree that they're not autocross springs, but paired with the koni's I think they would be perfect for a dd, just my opinion.

Our springs offer the best ride quality of any aftermarket springs, period. Plus, they are made in the USA and come with a lifetime warranty. Sending you a PM.

I have Ultra-Light Steeda springs with Tokico D-spec shock/strut. Awesome ride considering the added performance. I had Eibach on my 05' and they were okay but they settled too much and became soft (if thats the right term) but I didn't have adjustable shocks and struts on my 05'. I will never have another mustang without adjustable shocks and struts.

Uin2it,

you forgot to mention Brandon, lol. We will let you base your purchase off of the consumers that have weighed in and other searches you may have done.

They are both great products, they are both great companies. We can offer such benefits or attributes like Steeda is an American Made company, ISO 9001-2008 Certified, etc.

Make the best decision based off of the feedback you have recieved and you will be happy with your purchase and ride.

Best Regards,

TJ

Oh godddddd let's not start this crap again!!!!! PLEASE.

With that said, over and over and over I hear the Steeda springs have the most comfortable ride considering the increase in performance. This is months of me browsing around. Before people say im just a steeda supporter, I'm basing this on others reviews not my own opinions. Even people have switched from others to the STEEDA's.

This is why I currently have a box in my house with Steeda ultralites in it waiting for my koni's to arrive.

I agree - I voted Ultralites and I've got Koni Sports to go with them too. Mine are all in my basement just waiting for me to have time to install! But I can't wait - the Brembo ride & height is getting old . . .

Anyone have recent pics of settled ultralites, please post!

Hey Guys,

No charts (lol) but just a picture from our Facebook page of a consumer that posted this pic in Feburary regarding his ultralites:

Love my Steeda CAI, Tune & Ultralites.. Can't wait for tomorrow's "ghost cam" release..
We have many many pictures on our facebook page, so if you ever want to see what a consumers car looks like with a possible product on it, then that is a good resource.

Best Regards,

TJ

If u press down on the rod on the front strut should it go in with moderate force? And if tipped upside down will it extend along with a liquid sound?! Just didn't seem right to me...
