Axle side is higher after lowering.

It's only higher slightly with the P Springs. I have a set of CHE brackets sitting in my garage. Don't know if I'll install them.

Tell me Steeda's sub frame connectors will work on a '11 GT with Boss side exhaust and I'll pull the trigger.

What dampers are you using w/ the p spring? How's the ride? I have yellows and P springs waiting to get installed.

No increased NVH. I'm also running Koni Yellows and the P Springs - love it. Have had a number of different setups (Roush Trak Pak/KW coilovers, Steeda Sports + Yellows, Boss Springs + Yellows) and this is best all-rounder.

In what way are the P springs better than the Boss springs? Is the ride much stiffer that "stock" brembo? What settings do you keep the yellows on for the street? What size wheels/tires? Thx

Boss (non-LS) springs are almost indistinguishable from the stock Brembo springs. Biggest improvement over the Boss springs is the ride height with a slight rake. Boss springs has a crazy amount of rake, and it looked kinda odd.

The P springs to me ride better than the stock Brembo. The car doesn't feel jarring over suspension expansion joints like it used to. Some/most of that is attributed to the Konis.

I run the Konis on maybe 3/4 of a full turn front and rear. I'm considering adjusting the settings since the rear feels more planted with the brace, but need some more miles to get a better feel.

PJRManagement,

The braces tie together the inner and outer frame rails with the lower control arm mount, effectively boxing the rear of the chassis getting rid of unwanted flex that causes geometry changes. They will make the car feel more responsive and predictable, especially under hard cornering.

Best Regards,

TJ

My G-Track Brace and 3 point frame rail brace came in the mail today from Steeda. First thing Saturday morning I'll be installing them a a friends shop. I'll post pictures. Weather calling for snow, but I hope it holds until I get a good test drive.

PJR,

I apologize for missing your response ...

Gus, one of our veteran Steeda representatives had one on his 2006 GT and, "None, I used to have them on my 06, no negative effects at all"

Hope this helps.

Big Poppa, make sure you provide the members with some feedback!

Best Regards,

TJ

I noticed that the 3 point brace is not compatible with convertibles, per the website, but could they be modified to fit the vert without diminishing the strength?
Any good photos of them on a GT?

As I said the G-Track Brace from Steeda came and I started the install with the help of my friend and his dad at Autohaus Vanco [shout out]. The install was easy as butter is greasy and I put a bit of lock tight on the threads for insurance, but I don't think you really need it. I was thinking to remove the stock brace but I don't know it that would be wise or not. As for the test drive after; yes I feel something but I'm not experienced enough road racer to say yes you must have this part. I can say I'm happy to have it. The best is that it's made in America, that alone makes it worth my while. The 3 Point Frame Rail Brace didn't work out so well. No fault of the part itself which is an excellent piece in quality and workmanship. It's really strong with great welds and nice hardware included. Not to mention it fits like a glove. The downside is I can't use it. I have the Boss 302 side exhaust and it will not work with the 3 point. I tried a longer bolt and spacer but that only makes the exhaust hang down too far and makes the car look like a clunker with a bad tail pipe. I called Steeda and spoke with Matt and he agreed to give me a refund. I have the return # and Monday I'll send it back. If you do not have the side exhaust nor plan to get it I highly recommend the 3 Point. Although it is a bolt on piece it should be welded by a professional at your earliest convenience. Thanks Steeda, YOU ROCK!
