Spring/Suspension Question

Has anyone used the H&R OE Sport Springs? If so what are everyones thoughts? I'm looking for a real mild drop to go with the Koni Str. I currently have the 55D springs but haven't install them yet however I feel I need a little more in the back and a little more up front. Any suggestions.

Our Sport springs will give a little bit more of a drop than the H&Rs:

http://www.steeda.com/store/steeda-s...t-springs.html

Wont slam your car at approx 1 inch front, 1 1/4 inch rear.

Please let me know if i can help you with anything in regards to placing an order or answering your questions.

Best Regards,

Tim

I have the H&R super sports. not sure they are the same ones you are referring too. I also had the Steeda sports, maybe ultralites, not sure on my 07' GT prior to the H&R's on my current car 10' GT. In my opinion the H&R is a pretty significant drop. If I'm not careful, I would scrape and bottom out in some places. speed bumps make me wanna vomit when I see them coming. but I am very happy with the ride and stance.. I can navigate my way around trouble and steer clear of most obstacles. The Steeda on the 07' were to mild for what I was looking for. The ride was exceptional as would he expected from steeda, but the stance just wasn't there for me. I was looking for something aggressive looking, good performance to help eliminate the wheel/fender gap. H&R had exactly what I wanted. I think most would feel it is to low for their liking. My girlfriend loves the car big time, but has been hesitant to drive it ever since I put the springs. Might be the 20+ guidelines to not scrapping the headers or front end that she now has to follow. but, if I had the cashola, I would have my car up to steeda in a heartbeat and have them turn it into one of their Q cars or something along those lines. that would be sick!

The h&r oe's are supposed to be nice. The problem is that there are no mild drop springs that are still comfy.

P springs are a mild drop, also.

It seems the p springs and steeda sports are nice. Do the boss springs ride any better for the fronts? Could someone do boss up front and steedas or p springs out back?

Go with the H&R if you can find them. The steeda and p springs will be lower and firmer. The Boss springs will drop you almost an inch. Or even think about brembo takeoff springs and the srt's, that should be a smooth combo for cruising.

Jay how much drop are H&R OE's? I read they do .5-.7 so I want to make sure. Also how much would the springs be? How much with the Koni STR's?

Thanks

The brembo springs are about the same as stock. If Jay can get you the OE H&R's, I would go with those. And buy the konis while theyre on sale.
