Just my $0.02: Is handling improved - yes. Are the "relatively soft" spring rates a comprise - yes. However, the compromise is what makes the Steeda Sports a great spring for a daily driver. Are higher spring rates needed for a daily driver/non track dar - no, I don't think so.

How is that FATT event? Who here has been before? Assuming I keep my car on the track, is there a risk of damage such as contact from other drivers? I'm contemplating attending this summer....

Always a chance since you will be on the track with inexperienced drivers. I am sure the FATT is similar to the SCCA events where you have an instructor and they have flaggers and people watching to make sure your being careful. If the instructors feel scared, which I have been told does happen, they will take appropriate action. So I think you will be fine, I haven't wrecked or come even close yet.

On a side note, where did you get your TSW's Ivan? I have been looking for sometime to find the best price and it looks like discounttiredirect is the way to go.
