I have the GT500 Brembo kit new in the box and was wondering about the bleeding procedure as well.

Counterpoint - I drive my car hard. I am actually very happy with the factory pads for the Brembos in terms of initial bite and progressive braking. Dust is less of a concern of mine, as I drive 20k a year and my car doesn't stay clean enough for dust to be a concern anyways.

I've used Hawk HPSs on my G35 with Brembos and my GTO which had the same sliding calipers as a C5 Corvette. They had crap initial bite and braking force/pedal pressure was less consistant than the OEM pads.

Interesting counter-point. I, too, run Ford OEM pads (both front and rear) with this kit. I feel they hold up well - and have balance for both street and track duty. But...lots of dust, and some squeak. I have not tried another brand yet, only Ford OEM.
