Need help with the Suspension upgrade

Hi Friends,
I am thinking about upgrading the suspension on my 2013 V6 and i am so confused. It currently has stock setup with 2014 Brembo Pack wheels. I am more into looks so stance matters. Also I do not like the sloppy handling of the stock setup. Can anyone please help me with a detail list of all the parts needed which go with my wheel setup.

Thanks in Advance....!!

EDIT: I also want this to get done in a reasonable cost. So if anyone has good setups for sale I might be interested.

I've got SR performance springs from AM, a 1.5 inch drop. Paired with koni str.t shocks and struts with gt500 mounts. Looks really good and handles great. Plus it's one of the cheapest options out there. I'm also on 18" wheels, so yours will fill it out a hair more.

Thanks for the info MDkid92. What about Camber Bolts, Control arms and Bump Stops? Are you still using the stock once?

you're welcome. Still using the stock control arms and bump stops. Everything is still fine. You can do the camber bolts, but aren't necessarily needed. I took my car to the ford dealer my friend works at, and had him give me an alignment. Without camber bolts or plates, we still got it almost perfect.

I would personally go with BMR springs for the V6 cars, they pair very nicely with them. Upgrade to Koni Orange (our number 1 selling combo) with an adjustable PHB and you'll be good to go. I would suggest going with the 05-09 GT500 Konis with GT500 mounts, flip the mounts 180 degrees and not run CC bolts. Any reputable alignment shop can get you within spec.

let us know if we can help you out at all or if you have any other questions, thanks!

As specified in the post I have brembo package wheels on my car. Do you still think I will be good with the setup you recommended?
Edit: What kind of drop am I looking at?

Yessir, you'd be surprised at how much you can drop your car on Brembo wheels... not saying its preferred though

The drop is right at 1.5 all around inches of drop.

The BMR springs have the lowest spring rate of all the aftermarket springs. 155 and 150 which technically is pretty soft but for street applications does very well. Other damper options would be Bilsteins or koni yellows. Another option would be the bilstein B12 suspension kit which comes with the Eibach pro kit springs and Bilstein HD dampers. We installed these on our 13 Boss and have already tested the kit on the nurburgring The handling, comfort and overall performance was incredible.... now I'm a huge koni fan and supporter, I've ran their setups for years but the Bilstein setup really, really surprised me and for the cost, isn't really that bad.

I'm going to have to try flipping my front mounts on my car, I have too much negative camber I guess, my wheels are leaning in at the top is what I have and the car chases the grooves in the road a lot. I hope this helps

If you chase grooves like that it's most likely your tires. The pzeros are really bad.

The same camber settings for both sets of tires and the BFGs were so much better.

Pzeros are like ice skates.

I flipped my mounts around this Friday and that made a huge difference, I checked the camber angle and it's right about 0degrees now and it was over 1 degree before. So I'm way happier with the way. The car handles now

What mounts did u use?
I just put gt500 strut mounts on my 2014 an have 2 degrees negative.
Feel like I wasted $ on junk.
Just ordered maximum camber plates an was removing gt500 .

if you flip the GT500 mounts 180 degrees, you can dial out some camber. How much the end result is, depends on how much you lowered the car.
with a 1" drop, and GT500 mounts 180 degrees flipped, I am at just over 0 degrees camber.

EDIT: please disregard. Flipping the GT500 mount DOES help reduce the amount of camber, but certainly not to near 0, which is also not desirable. In my case it was about 0.7 degrees.

Dual some negative back in. At least -1.0...I used to run -1.5 in my other cars and it was perfect. Tramlining wasn't too bad, but turn in was so much quicker and sharper!

Checked car and it seems I was talking BS. I have about 0.7 degrees negative camber.

according to the manual, that should be about right.

Nice, that's more like it. I'd dial it to -1.0 and call it a day!
