Loweing ideas
How does this look? I am wanting to lower mainly for appearance, but want to do it right. I may go to the drag strip once or twice this year. How do you think this set up will ride, stiffer than stock or similar? Is this overkill or what I need to make it right? How hard to install on jack stands or should I have a shop do it?

Lower control arms/relocation brackets

Pan hard rod
Koni oranges
Gt500 mounts...will these work or do I need caster/camber plates
Thanks for any input

Add an adjustable panhard bar and you have everything you need. From what I know your ride should be comparable to stock with the BMR springs, but better damped with the STR/T's so it will be more controlled.
From what AM told me over the phone and what others here have told me here, yes. I was advised by a member to be careful when taking off the factory mount. Apparently they come apart easily. Just got the springs today from LMR ordered them Monday afternoon, the rest AM decided to take their sweet time lol and won't be here till next Thursday.

Thanks for visiting the site! If I were you I would stick with the 05-09 Mustang fitment because of the availability of strut mounts and CC plates. Personally I would stay away from running the stock strut mounts whenever you go aftermarket in springs and Struts. They're not designed to handle the increased spring rate and dampening of aftermarket struts.
I'm a bit disappointed that some places are saying its ok to run your stock mounts with aftermarket springs and struts. That's just added work in the long run when they go.
Don't forget about our discount codes and the sale on the BMR parts

The gt500 mounts very strong?
The GT500 strut mounts are a bit stronger than the basic GT mounts. Bearing a bit stronger and the bearing cups are better built. Also the quality of the overall mount is much better.
Since i ordered the 11+ konis I can order the steeda heavy duty mounts. They will fit correct?
Yes. You could order any 2011+ camber plates. I have the ground control 2011+ camber plates. They work very well and you don't need any parts off of your stock mounts.

that's the exact setup I have.
Mr. V is correct, you can use any CC plate designed for 11+ Mustangs. Steeda CC plates are stout, I really like them and for those not wanting to running a lot of camber I'd suggest them. I, like Mr. V, run Ground control CC plates. These plates come with custom billet aluminum tops, allow for -/+ 3 degrees of camber adjustment and 1 degree of caster, top spring isolator as well so you don't have to break down your stock strut mount. I'm been running and tracking GC CC plates for quite awhile with zero issue, and they're super quiet.
I installed Steeda UltraLite springs, Steeda HD upper strut mounts, and Koni Str.T (Orange) struts/shocks...added to my fully adjustable F/R Eibach sway bars. Super ride. Quiet. Handles like a slot car.
