Did you order just the koni's or the whole package?
Still better than nothing. I appreciate the offer man.
Just Koni's from Sam. Ordered the gt500 mounts and P springs from American Muscle. Sam doesnt carry FRPP stuff since they refuse to talk to him about carrying their parts.
Not sure when I will be able to install and get it aligned, as I'm pretty dang busy the new few weekends.
I'm gonna try my install myself as well but I have worries about getting the car straight. Do you just do the install then take it for an alignment??! Anything else besides that?
In going with Steeda Ultralites, STR.Ts and the GT500 mounts.
Hopefully the install goes well. I never got I to suspension much in the past.

Ok I've narrowed it down to koni's. Now that they're on sale I'm at a toss up between the sports and str.t's. I'm going to have the occasional track day, but I'm trying to justify adjustables. I need someone to twist my arm. Sports or str.t's and use the $ saved for other mods??

But how often will he be utilizing the adjustment feature?
I'm in the same boat and trying to justify the need for adjustability and spending $3xx more. I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on the STr.t.

Anyone know the best and easiest way to install shocks/struts/springs?! Is it installing it all together then putting the whole assembly in?
If so,
What do I need to purchase as far as doubling up on certain parts? Do i need the nuts and stuff?

New struts should come with new nuts. And you will need new bumpstops if you don't wanna take the stock struts apart. New springs should come with new dust boots. And you will need new strut hats/mounts
Sorry little ignorant on this stuff. Strut hats are the same as the gt500 strut mounts??
So I don't need a upper strut nut kit?
And I can't reuse the stock bumpstops unless I want to break down the shock strut assembly correct?

And my new Konis came with new nuts.
And yes, and breaking them down requires spring compressors.

Check out these - these are bump stops that could be purchased to try to 'avoid' disassembling the OEM mounts.
The $125 Eibach/Roush deals didn't come with dust boots...Thinking I may just get it done professionally and have them take apart the old stuff.

Im gonna get the Ford racing ones but they seem to be the same ones that are on the car factory. So technically to do the setup prior to install all you need is the fronts.
Lewis, have you done your install yet?? any videos/articles lingering around you guys have that I cant start watching

Yeah I did mine 2 weeks ago.
I didn't use anything other than the service manual for torque specs and exploded views. But I've done my fair share of struts and knew what I was doing beforehand.
And correct you will only need the front bumpstops. But you can't get just the fronts or the factory ones separately. FRPP only sells the 4 together and ford only sells the stockers with new struts.
