Koni STR.T's or FRPP shocks/struts
What have you guys decided on? Friend's just got himself a set of koni yellows and now I'm seriously considering dropping the extra $300. But this car is NEVER going to the track nor really being driven daily.
I just bit on a set of STR.Ts. Couldn't justify the extra $300 to myself, ill probably very rarely, if ever track the car. And drag track maybe a few times a season. Plus i got the Str.t for 316 shipped. : rockon:

I just ordered the FRPP adjustable struts, jounce bumpers, and the GT500 mounts. At $100 vs. $350 for the Steeda ones, it was easy to go that route. I can always change them out down the road if I want something a little better.
After looking at the FRPP static and talking to a few of the engineers at the Dearborn proving grounds at certain events, they've all suggested spending the money on the adjustable struts.

Overboost, any specific reason you chose FRPP adjustables vs. the Koni's considering the difference in price due to the Koni sale?

Anyone know if the FRPP bump stops/jounce bumpers will be any better then the factory ones?! In whatever they do lol
No better than stock, BUT actually able to purchase instead of the stockers only coming with new struts.
There's been a monkey wrench thrown into the situation again and I'm re-considering the Steeda Pro Action Shocks and Struts now. I've been recently advised against the BMR springs, so I'm looking into the Steeda Ultralites now for the comparable drop and driveability. Now that I'm looking into those, the Pro Action's are back in the mix.
Yellows/Sports are great, but I cannot justify the extra coin at the moment, and they're sold out everywhere. Str.t's are great, but I cannot find anyone giving any specifics as to why they are better/worse than the Pro Action's. Steeda's don't require the upgraded USM's, but that's something I'll replace anyways for safety.
Steeda's carry a lifetime warranty and are made in the USA, plus they frequent the boards and I'm all about supporting local/participating vendors.
Anyone have some useful advice on why I should/shouldn't get one or the other? Str.t's vs. Steeda Pro Action

I recently did the FRPP adjustable struts on my car. After a few days of driving with them at full stiff and with the 1" drop, the car is extremely well mannered and I'm very happy with the results. They might be a more expensive option, but well worth it IMO.
