Koni Sports (Yellow) w/Brembo Springs??
Thinking about getting some Koni Sports (Yellow) to put on my 2012 GT Auto daily driver, and I'm not really wanting to lower my car, just improve the suspension qualities without making the car harsher.
When I do the swap, I want to leave the stock shock/strut/mount assembly together, so I need another set of springs to go with my Koni's, but was thinking of getting some Ford OEM Brembo springs to maintain the ride height.
Has anyone put Koni's on their stock Brembo springs, and/or what are your thoughts for this combo?

He is a great resource. He gave me great advice. I wish you could order off of his website. You have to talk to him to order. I tried to contact him for 2 weeks to place an order before I gave up. If you can get a hold of him, he is amazing.
Thanks for the feedback on where to buy, but I'm looking more for thoughts or opinions on using the Brembo, or some other non-lowering spring, to use with the Koni's.
Has anyone put Koni's on a Brembo car and reused the Brembo springs?

Should work very well. If you can find the dustboots somewhere let me know. Thats the only thing keeping me from swapping assemblies. If i were doing it, I'd go with Boss Front springs and brembo rears for a stockish height. Dont forget the front bumpstops. GL
I tried Koni Yellows with the stock Brembo springs on my car and it was definitely an improvment over stock but still not the final answer for me. The Brembo springs in the front were still too soft for my taste and I did not like the ride height and appearance of the car. I have tried Steeda Sports and I am now running the Koni Yellows with Ford Racing P springs that I am happy with so far.
I considered the boss springs also. I started a thread about it here. The consensus was that the ride was terrible. I believe 2 people that posted had actually used the set up. Now that I own the Koni sports, I have my own theory. I think the Koni sports don't go soft enough to allow a comfortable ride. I know many people use their sports at 1-2 turns as a daily driver but at full soft I find it pretty good but a bit stiff. My buddy has a boss and his ride is smoother set to 2 on his shocks. This is purely a guess on my part. I've fiddled with a lot of suspensions but mostly on European cars. I hope this helps.
Mr. V could you elaborate some more on your experience with the Koni's and Sport springs. What caught my attention was the Koni's dont go soft enough for a comfortable ride for your DD. Knowing that can be subjective. I was thinking about a similar set up based on the the number of others who have gone the Koni, and Sport Spring route. I like the idea of adjustable shocks, and understand there will be a more firm ride over stock, just dont want to beat my kidneys to death.
Do you know what kind of shocks are in your buddies Boss? Looks like you thought his ride was 'smoother'. Are they stock or upgrades?
Apologies to OP not trying to hi-jack your thread.

I ran the Koni Yellows with Hotchkis sport springs in our 13 boss. With the springs they completely eliminated the rake that the stock springs had. The spring rate is a tad on the light side being 185 front and 185 rear progressive but I've had great luck with them thus far.
Here's a quick pick with the springs, you'll see how the car sits even which is something I like.

Unfortunatlely there arnt too many options that will allow you to keep the stock(ish) ride height, while giving you a firmer front spring rate. Boss or P springs. The rears are much easier to play with, so you can really start with the stock brembo springs and go up from there. Maybe even some 55d's in your future.
