Koni Sports Rear shocks

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has any information they can share regarding the seemingly national backorder of Koni Sports/Yellow Rear shocks part # 8241-1240?

Strano isn't picking up his phone or clearing his voicemails, every online parts store is showing times from July to Sept. I got someone on eBay charging way over what these are worth and I still can't verify if they're gonna drop ship em or they really have em in hand - can anyone do a fellow mustang owner a favor and share any info?

Is there really ANY WAY to get these shocks - at least before the driving season is over? Thanks in advance.

I got mine from Sam, took just over a month for them to get in. Struts came very quickly.

He's probably racing this time of year.

Koni is effed up. They may have great products but every year they go through this where their manufacturing managers are too stupid to plan head so production matches sales. Idiots! There's Europe for you!

Broke down one day and just called koni and went down their list of authorized dealers.

Ended up finding them in stock from www.shox.com - call up and ask for Mark. Was reluctant to sell me just the rears but asked me to spread the word. Great service, great prices and they still have 3-4 full sets of Koni yellows left last we spoke if anyone is interested.

Really happy I didn't break down and overpay some crab on eBay for a set. Glad i waited as I paid a fair price AND am sure of warranty as theyre an authorized dealer unlike those found on eBay.
