I recently bought a 2014 Mustang GT with the Track Pack...for the track, of course. That said, I bought a few FRPP upgrades. One of them is the Brake Duct Kit for this car. The front bumper fitting, and the disc plate mounted just fine. However, Ford did not make it easy to install the ducting. First, everything is in the way and to snake it around the washer fluid reservoir on the right side left you with too little ducting. The horn is in the way on the left side. I am okay snaking it around stuff, but Ford did not include enough ducting to do it. What the hell, Ford, this kit is not cheap.

Okay, so I'll buy longer ducting elsewhere, but the real help is finding the entry point to the wheel when at full lock. There's a tiny area almost all the way to the front roll bar bushing. It's very tight and requires cutting of some of the panels down there. No problem, Ford warns you of that, but like I said, it's very tight. So, before I butcher up the panels, does anyone have any experience installing this kit on this car? Any lessons learned?

 

Haven't installed myself, but I have a friend with a boss who has this installed. I am going to see him on Monday and will take a look at his install. Interested as I will be putting in this kit at some point too
