Finally lowered my 2011 Mustang - Pics. Full review to follow.
So far so good. I will see how this compares to the stock suspension on the autobahn. I think the car handled well with the stock parts but was very clumsy in many situations. Day by day (over the last 2 years) it became more annoying. I mean the floatiness, brake dive, and bumps unsettling the car. It was a bit unpredictable or the reaction from the suspension was a day late and a dollar short......Poor driving dynamics. But somehow dive into a curve with a bit of speed or execute a fast left/right transition and the car was stable. Not confidence inspiring but quite decent when a bit aggressive with the throttle while tossing the car around (on a decent road).
I installed the Eibach Pro Kit - springs, struts, shocks. It lowered the car a bit and stiffened it up. Things happen faster....it dampens (compresses and rebounds much faster) and is less bothered by road imperfections. Ride quality doesn't seem to be uncomfortable or harsh. It is overall a bit stiffer and doesn't dive under braking as extreme as before.
The pics.......before and after.

Thanks for the compliments!! Trust me I wish it was a V8 but this has to do for a few more months.
It would be even better if I could take a 2013 GT500 out on the autobahn for a review but that won't happen any time soon. So V6 do your best!
The autobahn is a bit smoother over all compared to the USA highways. There are a few bumps here and there. One open stretch in particular near me (A6 between Sinsheim and Heidelberg) with no speed limit has a small ripple which is not extreme normally but will unsettle the car at 120MPH enough to make your heart skip a beat. Funny I never noticed it in my cobra with the IRS. It nearly makes a solid axle setup dance like James Brown (or difficult to keep it in the lane). I bet it looks funny to cars behind you as they are cruising in their luxury liner BMW 7 series.

It handles much better. The ride for sure is a bit more firm but in a good way. The car is far more predictable and consistent over areas where it was skittish with the stock parts. If the scattered rain showers stop for a day I will drive it on the limits. I already recommend this setup!! More to follow

Sure miss Heidelberg and Veirnhiem. Spent over 5 years there with Siemens telecomunications doing training on the military bases (Tayler barracks). Beautiful areas there.
Enjoy the Mustang. I'm guessing your a rare site driving around the BMW's and Mercedes.

I did the Eibach Sportline lowering kit. I just inquired with the dealer about adding the other 2 stages to get it up to the 3-stage handling package like you have. The sportlines lower the car a bit more (1.4" front, 1.5" rear), but now I really want the dampers, shocks and sway bar/bushings too. The total kit (minus install) at American Muscle is $950. I'm hoping that I can just buy the 2nd and 3rd stages for less than the total package price. REALLY want it to absorb the bumps better. The lowering kit alone made that part worse than the stock springs.
