I'm trying to hammer down the last parts of my suspension shopping list. I am looking for folks that have owned or driven cars with the usual suspects as far as camber plates installed. Im down to steeda, maximum motorsports, and ground control. I'm looking at gt500 mounts but I'm concerned about tire wear. Price isn't my major concern. Noise and tire wear are my big worries when I lower my car. I'm going to go with Koni sport struts and steeda sport springs. Thanks for any input!

you shouldn't need the camber plates to get the car aligned. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get some camber bolts and be sure to tell your alignment shop that you have them in there. Most shops won't even bother adjusting camber on these cars

Thank you for your answer. I had a couple of questions about your set up. What did you use as strut mounts on your car? How was your tire wear and added noise like on your set up?

The GT500 strut mounts should work fine, especially if you decide on a less agressive set of springs. The BMR springs that we talked about are a great, comfortable set of springs and paired with the Koni yellows you'll be able to adjust to your liking.
If you decide on CC plates I really like ground control, every customer I've sold a set to and installed have been extremely happy. However, if you don't need adjustable cc plates then don't waste your money.

I used the stock strut mounts. Tire wear is fine as long as I tell the alignment shop I have camber bolts and I also told them I wanted my tire more straight up and down than it came from the factory. The first time I took it in for alignment they didn't set the camber because the service guy didn't tell the alignment guy I had camber bolts so it went right back onto the rack to have it set properly. I could see the tires were leaning in way to far in at the top. I don't think the noise level went up at all, the ride got firmer and the handling was improved by alot. loved the upgrade. For my car at least there wasn't much of a difference between the gt and the gt500 mounts besides the price. Sam Strano suggested just go with the GT mounts.

I went with the ground control plates on a recommendation from Jay at hypermotive. I'll post a review after. I couldn't find a review here for these plates when I was considering them. I guess I'm a test case. I'm hoping my gamble pays off.

It's a matter of opinion. There are numerous opinions. I bought plates because I was worried about camber wearing out my tires. Some folks will say to use camber bolts but I wanted a set up that was as durable as stock under hard driving. It all depends on what you are looking for.

Well if I was selling parts I would try to sell you the 350 dollar part over the 29 dollar part for sure. Camber bolts work perfectly fine and as durable as stock, soft driving hard driving what ever kind of driving you do. They worked when I ran the pro springs and now when I am running the sport springs. The adjustable strut mounts work well also but do add a little more noise over the non adjustable stock pieces.
Just make sure when you have the front end alignment done that you tell the shop you have the adjustable mounts otherwise they won't even attempt to adjust camber.

I'm glad you enjoyed your purchase. I enjoy the confidence my purchase affords me. I don't feel it's wasted money or foolish. I haven't experienced any noise from my mounts. I appreciate your recommendation with the alignment shop.
