cant find brake pads

cant find brake pads

i have a 2005 and the front pads that part store calls out dont fit the caliper bracket.the bracket i have is stamped trw on one end the other end has s197 with a 5901-1nfp2f11 across the middle...any help ?

Need more info.
V6 or V8 car?
Different brakes on each.
What parts store? What did they tell you?

it is a v6 and i have been to napa ,advance ,autozone and carquest. they said they didnt know

The V6-powered Mustangs have 11.5 inch front rotors, while the GT models have larger 12.4 inch front rotors.

If the calipers are stock the pads seem to be part #1081

Bendix can identify brake pads from a photo. Hope that helps you sort this out!

Besides, shipping from there is expensive.

Bendix number in the US is still #1081

Oh, bummer, sorry about that, I didn't realize bendix was a brand of brakes, I just thought it was the name of the app, and I hoped from a photo it would list part numbers with cross references to other manufacturers.

If I was in OPs shoes I would just use a mechanic the first time and get the part number from them so I could do it myself in the future.

What does not fit. i have done my son v6 2006 and there are two pads fro that model. I just bought new rotors and pads from Hawk. Do you have a picture of the pad?
